About NemaCura

Nature Restores Nature.
We Make It Possible.

NemaCura is a biological pest control company developing entomopathogenic nematode products, microbial bionematicides, and microbial biofertilizers, with expert consultancy for commercial growers worldwide.

Our Mission

Nature Already Contains the Solution

NemaCura was founded on a single conviction: that nature already contains the solutions to its own pest problems. Entomopathogenic nematodes and microbial bionematicides and microbial biofertilizers — microscopic, soil-dwelling organisms that actively seek out and parasitise pest larvae — have been doing this work for millions of years.

Our role is to harness that biological precision, rear it under controlled conditions, and deliver it to growers as a reliable, effective, and environmentally responsible alternative to synthetic pesticides — contributing directly to the transformation of European agriculture demanded by the EU Green Deal and its associated strategies.

Policy Alignment

Built for the Future of European Agriculture

NemaCura's biological solutions are directly aligned with the legislative and strategic framework reshaping European crop protection. Every product we develop is designed to help growers meet — and exceed — the targets set by the following:

EU Green Deal

The overarching framework committing Europe to climate neutrality and sustainable food systems by 2050. NemaCura's zero-residue biological products are a direct enabler of the Green Deal's agricultural transition — replacing synthetic chemistry with precision biological control.

Farm to Fork Strategy

Targets a 50% reduction in the use and risk of chemical pesticides and a 20% reduction in fertiliser use by 2030. NemaCura's entomopathogenic nematodes, microbial bionematicides, and microbial biofertilizers replace synthetic pesticides entirely, while our beneficial bacterial consortia support natural nutrient cycling — directly contributing to the 20% fertiliser reduction target.

EU Soil Strategy 2030

Calls for all EU soils to be in healthy condition by 2050, with measurable improvements in soil biodiversity, organic matter content, and microbial activity by 2030. NemaCura's soil health biologicals actively restore and enhance soil microbial communities, supporting the living soil systems that underpin long-term agricultural productivity.

Zero Pollution Action Plan

Targets zero pollution for air, water, and soil — including the elimination of pesticide contamination of soil and water bodies. Biological pest control with entomopathogenic nematodes, microbial bionematicides, and microbial biofertilizers produces no chemical residues, no soil contamination, and no water pollution risk.

Sustainable Use of Pesticides Regulation (SUR)

Mandates integrated pest management across all EU member states and sets legally binding pesticide reduction targets. NemaCura's products are fully IPM-compatible and provide growers with compliant, effective alternatives as chemical active substances face increasing regulatory withdrawal.

CEO Message
Soil is not just a growing medium — it is a living ecosystem. Restoring it is the defining agricultural challenge of our era.

Over more than two decades of research and development spanning the United States, Europe, and Asia, I have built deep expertise in the diseases that threaten the crops growers depend on — fungal, bacterial, viral, and nematode pathogens affecting turfgrasses, field crops, vegetables, and orchards. That breadth of knowledge, accumulated across three continents and some of the world's most demanding agricultural environments, is the scientific foundation on which NemaCura is built.

The EU Green Deal, Soil Strategy for 2030, and Farm to Fork framework are clear signals: the era of broad-spectrum synthetic pesticides is ending. Decades of chemical use have left soils depleted, compacted, and biologically impoverished — and reversing that damage demands biological intelligence, not more chemistry.

NemaCura's entomopathogenic nematodes, microbial bionematicides, and microbial biofertilizers are precisely aligned with this demand. They parasitise target pests without residues, without resistance risk, and without disrupting the soil microbiome. For growers navigating tighter regulations and growing consumer scrutiny, they represent the most credible, science-backed path forward.

Co-Founder Message
Biological innovation only creates impact when it reaches the market. My role is to ensure that NemaCura's science translates into solutions that growers can access, adopt, and trust.

With over 17 years of international experience spanning agricultural economics, circular bioeconomy, and sustainable business development, I bring a complementary lens to NemaCura's scientific foundation. My work bridges the gap between cutting-edge biological research and the commercial realities of modern agriculture — ensuring that what we develop in the laboratory finds its rightful place in the field.

I hold a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Management from China and an MSc in Economics from the USA, and I am currently contributing to the DOT.GREEN sustainability project at Munster Technological University, Ireland. I have collaborated with internationally recognised organisations including IFPRI and the FAO, and have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in agricultural economics, food systems, and sustainable agri-food development.

At NemaCura, I lead business strategy, commercialisation, market development, and sustainability — translating our scientific innovations into commercially viable, environmentally responsible solutions. My expertise in circular bioeconomy, agricultural value chains, and resource-efficient agri-food systems ensures that every product we bring to market is not only scientifically sound but economically compelling and aligned with the sustainability frameworks shaping the future of European agriculture.

The EU Green Deal, Farm to Fork, and the Zero Pollution Action Plan are not constraints — they are the commercial opportunity of our generation. NemaCura is positioned to lead it.

What We Stand For

Our Principles

The values that guide every product we develop, every consultation we deliver, and every grower relationship we build.

Science Without Compromise

Every claim we make is backed by peer-reviewed nematology and rigorous field data. We do not overstate efficacy or cut corners on evidence.

Biological First, Always

We believe the future of crop protection is biological. We do not develop or recommend chemical alternatives — our entire focus is on living, natural solutions.

Precision Over Broad-Spectrum

Our entomopathogenic nematodes, microbial bionematicides, and microbial biofertilizers are highly targeted. We design our products and consultancy programmes to exploit that precision — protecting beneficial soil life while eliminating target pests.

Sustainable Agriculture

Our work directly supports the EU Green Deal, Farm to Fork strategy, and global efforts to reduce synthetic pesticide use in commercial agriculture.

Grower Trust

We work directly with commercial growers, agronomists, and farm managers — building long-term relationships based on honest advice and measurable results.

End-to-End Expertise

From soil sampling and nematode taxonomy through to product application and follow-up monitoring — we support growers at every stage of the management programme.
