Biological Pest Control

Engineering Nature for Sustainable Crop Protection

NemaCura manufactures precision-grade entomopathogenic nematodes, microbial bionematicides, and microbial biofertilizers that promote soil health and modulate soil microbial activity and biodiversity — without chemical residue, without resistance risk.

We believe the next generation of crop protection must work with nature, not against it.

NemaCura was founded on a single conviction: that biological solutions, rigorously developed and precisely manufactured, can outperform chemistry — sustainably, at commercial scale.

The Science

How Biological Control Works

Nematode under microscope — biological pest control
Heterorhabditis bacteriophora — 400× magnification
01

Targeted Application

Nematodes are applied directly to the soil or growing medium via standard irrigation systems — no specialist equipment required.

02

Active Host Seeking

Once in the soil, infective juveniles actively seek out target pest larvae using chemical and thermal cues.

03

Biological Elimination

Nematodes enter the host, release symbiotic bacteria, and eliminate the pest within 24–48 hours — leaving no chemical residue.

04

Self-Sustaining Cycle

New nematode generations emerge from the host and continue seeking pests, providing extended biological control.

Beneficial Nematodes

Nature's Own Pest Predators, Precision-Reared

Our entomopathogenic nematode and microbial bionematicide programme delivers living, infective juveniles directly to the soil — where they actively seek out and parasitise soil grubs, leatherjackets, vine weevil larvae, chafer grubs, and other soil-dwelling larvae. Each batch is reared under controlled conditions and tested for vigour, purity, and host-seeking efficacy before dispatch.

  • Zero chemical residue — fully compatible with organic certification
  • No pest resistance development — unlike synthetic chemistry
  • Targeted action — zero impact on non-target species
  • Integrates seamlessly with IPM programmes
  • Fully aligned with EU Green Deal and EU Soil Strategy 2030 objectives
